Testimonials:
Before I entered a research study I had problems raising my hands over my head and my knuckles on both hands were very swollen. I had large lumps on both my knees that had to be drained often.  I could not kneel down and had problems bending my knees which required me to use both my hands to get up from a chair.  After just a short time of being in the study I can now raise my hands above my head and the swellinlg in my knuckles went way down. The lumps in my knees went down and I no longer need to get them drained.  I can now bend at my knees and squat down and I do not need to use my hands to get up from a chair.  My participation in a clinical research study has been a miracle.

Dear Friend,
On Tuesday, November 1998 I received my first dose of a new experimental drug for rheumatoid arthritis. Within 54 hours of receiving my first dose of the drug I was aware of changes in my condition.  It was like a miracle.  Some of the pain I had experienced since May of 1995 was actually leaving my body.  As the program continued and I received more doses, my condition continued to improve.  As of today, June 2005, I am, in the most part, without pain.  I am still participating in the extension trial and have named it my wonder drug as it has given me a quality of life I feel I would never have had if I had not been been so fortunate as to be a receiver of this drug.
